If you're stuck in a foiling rut, this is the class for you, lead by salon owner and Lead Educator and Collaborator for the independent education company House of Collaboration, Katie Tellor. In this class you will learn new foiling and blonding techniques to achieve the most modern Dallas blonde. Topics covered will include creating the perfect "money piece", root-tapping, tipping out the clients ends, maintaining the integrity of the hair, when to choose foiling over balayage and social media/photography tips. This class is not limited to one specific color line; this is a technique based class and you will learn about a variety of different color lines and products that Katie and her Abstrakt team use on their clients behind the chair. You will obtain the knowledge and confidence needed to achieve the desired results, every time. This ticket is for demo + hands on portion and includes lunch. Hands on portion will be limited to 10 attendees for maximum 1-on-1 instruction. Attendee needs to provide their live model, or a mannequin + tripod.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Attendee must be a licensed cosmetologist or cosmetology student.

What can I bring into the event?

Attendees should bring: pen + paper, your favorite foiling comb, clips, blow dryer, curling iron, if you don't want to do the hands on portion on a live model, please bring a mannequin + tripod

What are the provided items?

Lightener + demi permanent for gloss, bowls, brushes, foils

What are the specifications for the model?

Model must desire a foil lightening service. Model should not have overly compromised hair and should not be considered a "color correction". Model should not have box color on their hair. Please email a current photo of model hair along with hair history to abstraktstudio@icloud.com for model approval.
